Put the plug of Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP into the Wi-Fi restarter, configure it. And it will automatically detect Wi-Fi connection, reset the router if Wi-Fi fails.
The smart wifi plug connects to your internet just like any other smart home devices such as a thermostat, switch etc. Plug the power cord from your Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP into the device, when it detects that the internet connection is lost, the plug turns the power off to the Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP (the Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP power plugs int the device). Then it turns the power back on and it restarts the modem. just like if you were physically there and unplugged your modem to do a reset and plugged it back in. It can also be set for a schedule to turn the device on and off whenever you want. For example, you can set yours to reset once every 24 hours at 6:00 in the morning. It’s worked when your internet was lost. It kept cycling the power on and off until whatever caused the internet to go off and came back online.
[Auto function]: Automatically detect internet connection status and restart router power if Wi-Fi fails. When the wifi smart plug detects that the internet connection is lost, the plug turns the power off to the modem (the modem power plugs into the device). Then it turns the power back on and restarts the modem.
[Wide scope of application]: Work with any routers, any access points and any broadband modems. Follow this procedure to pair: (1)plug the wifi router reset plug to a socket (2)make it paired successfully (3)plug the adapter of Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP into the wifi router reset plug. If you plug the wifi router to the wifi router reset plug first, it means you reset the wifi router manually and the pair will proceed under unstable network, which will cause the pair fail.
[Multiple monitoring at one time]: Plug a power strip into REC Reset to monitor several devices at the same time, such as modem/router/AP. Certification: FCC
[Pretty convenient for daily life]: Set a schedule time to turn on or off the Wi-Fi Router/Modem/AP whenever you want. E.g.: reset once every 24 hours at 6:00 in the morning.
[Perfect for home network with multiple Wi-Fi devices]: Smart plugs/switches, Security cameras, Thermostat, Smoke/CO alarms, Smart TV, Remote computers, Sensors, Smart appliances, etc.
